Terms and Conditions

 

Welcome to Home Junkie! We make one-of-a-kind, upcycled bags designed to bring joy — and we want your experience with us to be just as joyful. By browsing our website, placing an order, or interacting with our content, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Product Information

Each bag is handmade and completely unique. While we do our best to show accurate colours and dimensions, please allow for small variations — that’s part of the charm!

2. Payment & Orders

All prices are in GBP (£). Orders must be paid in full at checkout. Once an order is placed, we’ll do our best to get it packed and posted quickly — we post within 48 hours.

3. Shipping & Delivery

We currently ship all over the world, shipping is included with the price of the bag, however, we reserve the right to ship if the postage cost is prohibitive, we happily ship to Europe, Canada., and Australia. Delivery times may vary depending on your location, and we’ll always notify you if there’s a delay.

Please note: for US customers, any import duties or tariffs are set by US customs and remain the buyer’s responsibility  - Please be informed of all tariffs with the new changes from 29th August 2025.

4. Returns & Refunds

Due to the handmade and one-off nature of our bags, returns are accepted only if the item is faulty or damaged on arrival. If that’s the case, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

5. Recycling & Sustainability

All our bags are made using predominantly recycled materials — mainly denim and other pre-loved fabrics. This means no two bags are ever the same, and small signs of previous life (like faded fabric or stitching quirks) are part of their story, not a defect.

6. Website Content

All photos, product descriptions, blog posts, and branding on this website belong to Home Junkie and may not be copied or reused without permission. Feel free to share our links or tag us — we love that!

7. Your Behaviour

We reserve the right to block or remove users from our website or social media if they engage in hate speech, bullying, spam, or anything that makes our community feel unsafe or unwelcome.

8. Account Termination

If we ever introduce user accounts or logins in the future, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that break the rules or misuse the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

We aim to keep everything on the site accurate and up-to-date, but we can’t be held responsible for occasional typos, stock errors, or website downtime. We'll always try to fix things quickly if they go wrong.

10. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. When we do, we’ll post the latest version here — so please check back if you're unsure.

Return and Refund Policy

 

Home Junkie – Returns & Refunds Policy

We want you to love your Home Junkie bag as much as we loved making it. But if something’s gone wrong, here’s how we handle returns and refunds.

Returns

Because each of our bags is handmade and one-of-a-kind, we only accept returns if:

  • The item is faulty, damaged, or significantly not as described
     
  • You contact us within 7 days of receiving your order
     
  • The item is unused and in its original condition
     

We unfortunately can’t offer returns for change of mind, as each bag is individually crafted and made to order — we hope you understand!

How to Request a Return

If there’s a problem with your order, just follow these simple steps:

  1. Email us at contact@homejunkie.co.uk within 7 days of delivery
     
  2. Include a short description of the issue, and a photo if relevant
     
  3. We’ll respond within 48 hours with the next steps
     

If a return is approved, we’ll provide return instructions and let you know where to send it.

Please note: Return postage is the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll issue a refund to your original payment method within 5–10 working days.

We’ll always let you know when the refund has been processed — please allow extra time for your bank or payment provider to show it in your account.
