Three personal items I would recommend

 The Let Them Theory – Mel Robbins (via Audible)
After a few surgeries and being stuck at home, I’ll be honest, the self-doubt crept in. The noise in my head (and in my ears thanks to tinnitus!) felt louder than ever. That’s when I stumbled on The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins. It’s simple, it’s powerful, and it genuinely helped me quiet all that noise and focus on what really matters. Audible has been a total lifesaver. I can pop my headphones in, listen while I sew or rest, and feed my mind something positive. If you’ve ever found yourself battling those “what will people think?” spirals, this book might just be your reset button too. 

I still remember sitting at the kitchen table with my gran, sewing little bits and pieces together. We weren’t making anything fancy, but those afternoons are some of my happiest memories. That’s why I love this beginner’s sewing kit for kids, it’s such a lovely way to spark creativity early on. Even if your little ones don’t go on to sew when they’re older, they’ll always remember the fun of making something with you. And honestly, that’s what it’s all about, those shared moments you carry with you forever. 

 I’ll be honest — 99.9% of the people who follow me online are absolutely wonderful. They’re kind, supportive, and make this little sewing adventure of mine so much fun. But every now and again, someone pops up who manages to get under my skin. That’s where this sign comes in. It’s my reminder to brush it off, focus on all the lovely people who are here for the right reasons, and never let a stranger’s words dent my confidence. Sometimes you just need a visual cue to say, “Nope, not today.” And this one makes me smile every time I see it.
